What We Believe

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for what we believe and how we live.

  • We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, loving, just, and sovereign over all things.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again bodily. Through Him alone, we can be forgiven and restored to God.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, brings new life, and dwells within believers. He empowers Christians to grow in holiness and to live for God. we live.

  • We believe all people are created in God’s image but are fallen and sinful by nature. Because of sin, we are separated from God and unable to save ourselves.

  • We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a gift from God, not earned by works. Those who trust in Jesus are forgiven, declared righteous, and given eternal life.

  • We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The local church exists to worship God, preach the gospel, make disciples, and serve others.

  • We believe baptism is for believers, by immersion, as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe the Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a time of spiritual reflection and unity for believers.

  • We believe Christians are called to live lives of holiness, love, and obedience to God, by loving others, standing for truth, and reflecting Christ in all we do.

  • We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. There will be a final judgment, and those who believe and trust in Christ will enjoy eternal life with God.
