Young Adults

Young Adults is a group for those finishing school and into their 20s who want to grow in faith, build strong friendships, and do life together.

At Waihi Baptist Church, our Young Adults community is a place where you can connect with others in a similar stage of life, be yourself, and feel supported as you navigate work, study, and what’s next.

We meet Thursday nights at 7:00pm to spend time in conversation, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement as we learn what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. Whether you’re new to church or have been around for a while, you’re welcome to come along and be part of it.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a strong and authentic community where young adults can belong, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and be equipped to live out their faith in everyday life.

We want to see young adults build lasting friendships, deepen their understanding of God, and confidently live out their faith in their workplaces, studies, and communities. Through connection, conversations, and shared experiences, we aim to support and encourage one another as we follow Jesus together.
